Epoxy FloorsWe have vast experience with several types of floor installations - a few of these are described below. With Unique Epoxy you can rest assured that your flooring needs will be handled professionally. All of the following applications are available in many different colors, including metallic and neon:Thin mill applications - used in many residential garages, shop floors, and pharmaceutical labs. Double broadcast floors with a large variety of colored sand and quartz - commonly used in hotels, fire stations and other heavy traffic areas. 1/4" troweled epoxy floors - extremely strong and can be used in areas that are subject to extreme traffic such as factory floors and heavy equipment plants. We've applied this system in Caterpillar plants, the Smithsonian facility in D.C., and in the National Treasury Department. A decorative vinyl flake finish can be added to any of the above systems to enhance the appearance of your floors. Urethane floors can be used instead of epoxy for exterior applications. Urethane is more scratch resistant and is not susceptible to yellowing in the sunlight like epoxy. |
